JOB DESCRIPTION FOR DESIGN ENGINEER :
1. Technical understanding: Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and mechanics
2. Innovation: The ability to be innovative and come up with new ideas
3. Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate and convey technical concepts to cross-functional teams
4. Project Management: Design engineers must manage projects, deadlines and budgets effectively
5. CAD Software: Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor, is necessary
6. Developing and designing products and systems based on customer requirements and industry standards
7. Conducting research and testing to check the feasibility and viability of the design ideas
8. Collaborating with other areas of the organization, such as manufacturing and quality control
